More car parking for Aberdare

Motorists and town centre shoppers can now take advantage of the convenient additional parking provision in Aberdare.
Due to demand for more accessible, affordable parking, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council has extended the existing Duke Street pay and display facility by 43 spaces.
Major work is now completed and the venue is open for use, already proving popular, although finishing touches at the additional provision continue to be carried out by the authority’s environmental services directorate.
As well as additional parking provision, the extension also includes new pedestrian access so users do not have to navigate the busy car lanes.
