Don’t Miss the Aberdare Reindeer Parade

Rhondda Cynon Taf’s Christmas events season gets off to a flying start with a reindeer parade through Aberdare town centre on Thursday, November 20, 2008.
Around 6,000 people lined the streets of the town to watch last year’s winter parade – and this year families can enjoy the Christmas lights switch-on, a Santa’s Grotto, a visit from the Cheeky Elves and a funfair from 5pm-7pm, with the main parade at 6.30pm.
Councillor Russell Roberts, Leader of Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, said: “The Christmas parades are a highlight of our annual events calendar and truly light up the dark winter nights. We hope people of all ages will join us at the forthcoming festive events.”
